KVOX is committed to making our news accessible to as many readers as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use to browse the web.

What we've built in

• A text-to-speech "Listen" feature on articles and videos, so stories can be heard rather than read.
• A distraction-free "Reader Mode" for a cleaner, larger-text reading layout.
• Bilingual Bengali/English content so readers can choose the language they're most comfortable with.
• Semantic HTML headings and alt text on editorial images.
• A site built to work with keyboard navigation and standard screen readers.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix. We continue to review and improve contrast, tap-target sizing, and keyboard/screen-reader support across the Site as we build new features.
